In the tenth round of HKPL, Wofoo Tai Po played against Eastern at home yesterday (4/2). The team conceded a goal each in both halves, even though Paulinho once caught up with the score, but the team still lost 1:2.
Facing a strong opponent, Wofoo Tai Po adopts a more aggressive style of play, oppressing the opponent in the front side from time to time. In the middle of the 1st half, Paulinho grabbed the ball in midfield and pushed forward, passing a diagonal pass to Chung Wai Keung, but the latter's shot lacked strength and was saved. The opponent opened the scoring later, and the "Green Warriors" fell 0:1 at halftime.
After the break, the home team managed to regain the situation and maintain possession. In the 59th minute, Joao Emir shot in a free kick but the keeper saved it. 7 minutes later, ex Tai Po player Sun Ming Him rewrite the score to 0:2. Two goals behind, Tai Po continued to attack, Paulinho grabbed the ball from the opponent's feet in the opposite's side and then led the ball to the penalty area to score. At the end of the game, the team had a golden opportunity to equalize, but Gabriel's header hit the cross bar. Finally, Wofoo Tai Po lost to Eastern 1:2.
